Restaurants sell with their best picture. So does Sofa’s: one dish, shot like a poster, priced the way the restaurant prices it.
the router
Every order takes the cheapest road.
For each restaurant in your cart, Sofa’s prices every way the food can reach you and sends it the cheapest one. When an app really is cheaper, Sofa’s sends it there.

The big apps
When a restaurant has no direct menu on Sofa’s yet, or an app is cheaper for that order, the router sends it there.
| Order size | You pay for delivery | The restaurant pays Sofa’s | vs. a 25% commission |
|---|
How Sofa’s prices the apps
- Courier cost: $6.99 a trip, the flat rate Uber Direct charges restaurants through Toast. DoorDash Drive is $7.49.
- Restaurant commissions: DoorDash 15%, 25% or 30% by plan, and Uber Eats 20%, 25% or 30% after its March 2026 increase.
- Uber Eats service fee: held between $2.50 and $6.50 an order, as Uber Eats states.
- Modeled until live quotes are connected: app menu markups of 10–18% by restaurant, a DoorDash service fee of 15% (at least $3), Grubhub 12% (at least $2), and app delivery fees of $2.49–$3.49.
- Restaurants without a full menu on Sofa’s are treated as not direct yet, so the router sends them to the cheapest app.

where food meets the network
A signal from your craving to your couch.
Our team hand-picks the restaurants. The AI reads your craving in plain English, picks the right places, prices the restaurant’s own ordering, a Sofa’s courier, a lunch run, a sidewalk robot or drone where one runs, and DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, then sends each restaurant’s order the cheapest honest way. Food and tech, one signal.

What Westminster is ordering.
Hop Sing’s, in Larimer Square.
The kung pao chicken is the comfort order — medium spicy, with the cold cucumber salad on the side and the pot stickers. It travels well, which is why it tops the list most weeks.
Tacos Tijuana, on Federal.
A family-run truck that’s been on Federal for years. Four al pastor tacos, a side of beans, and an agua de jamaica. Tip in cash if you pick up — it’s worth it.
Sushi Sasa, in Highlands.
The best omakase in Denver under $100. The 10-piece is $85 and the chef remembers what you ordered last time. Pickup recommended — it’s worth the short drive.
robots and drones
Wired for every robot on the road.
Sofa’s treats a sidewalk robot or a drone like any other route: priced, checked against distance, weight and hours, and picked only when it is the cheapest honest way to your door. One connector per service, all of them below.
for restaurants
Keep the percentage.
The apps take 15–30% of every delivery order. Sofa’s takes $1 and passes the courier through at cost.
Once ads, promotions and refunds are added, many restaurants pay the apps 30–40% of each delivery order. Sofa’s charges a flat $1, rents the courier at $6.99 a trip, and on smaller orders the diner covers part of that trip.
- Orders land in your own system with the diner’s name and order history.
- No contract. Keep your app listings while Sofa’s grows.
- The calculator says plainly when an app plan costs you less.

the actual work.

Not "tip-adjusted base pay." Not "minimum guaranteed." Tip’s the customer’s gratitude — it goes to you, full stop.

Common questions.
How is this different from DoorDash or Uber Eats?
Sofa’s is the router. For every restaurant in your cart it prices the restaurant’s own ordering, a Sofa’s courier, a lunch run, a sidewalk robot or drone where one runs, and the big apps, then sends the order the cheapest way. Direct orders carry in-store prices, no service fee, and free delivery on $40 and up. When an app really is cheaper for one restaurant, Sofa’s says so and sends it there.
How does Sofa’s make money?
Three ways. (1) Restaurants pay a flat $1 an order on direct orders and the courier at cost, never a percentage. (2) Subscriptions: $9/mo Sofa’s, $29/mo Concierge. (3) A small referral fee when the router sends an order to an app. We never run ads and we never sell your data.
How do you pick restaurants?
Sofa’s is built by a small team in Colorado. Every restaurant on the platform is visited and verified before it goes live — we don’t list a place we wouldn’t order from ourselves. Concierge members get a real person on email for recommendations and special requests.
What cities does Sofa’s cover?
Denver metro launches first — Westminster, Boulder, Denver proper, Highlands, Larimer Square, Aurora. Other cities open in waves as we’ve visited enough places to curate them. We’d rather be excellent in 1 city than mediocre in 50.
Can I order anything that isn’t curated?
Yes — the search routes you to all delivery services, even places we haven’t personally vetted. Curated picks just sort to the top with editor notes. You can always see everything available in your area.
How does the connection to Parity work?
Parity is our sister product — the party-planning app from Lund Studio. If you’re a Parity host planning a dinner party, you can route the whole catering order through Sofa’s in one click. Same accounts, same Grove profile, single checkout. Most people use them together.
Can I order coffee, matcha, and smoothies?
Yes — the Café tab. It’s a separate category because coffee orders work differently: they’re pickup-first (not delivery), small-ticket, daily, often on the way to somewhere. We show "ready in X min" and walking distance prominently, sort by time of day (espresso shops in the morning, decaf and herbal in the evening), and tag each shop’s signature drink so you can order something specific instead of staring at a menu. Coffee, matcha, juice, smoothies, açaí bowls — all in one tab.
Can I order groceries on Sofa’s?
Yes. The grocery tab routes you to Instacart, Amazon Fresh, or Walmart+ — whichever’s set up best for your zip code. We curate the bundles (Sunday-sauce kit, pantry essentials, hangover kit) but the actual shopping and delivery happens through the partner. Their fees, their drivers, our editorial layer. You can mix groceries and restaurant food in the same Sofa’s cart, but they’ll arrive as separate deliveries until robots can do both.
What’s the deal with "no drivers, all AI bots"?
Today every Sofa’s order in Colorado is a human courier or pickup. The router is already wired for Serve, Coco, Avride, Starship, DoorDash Dot, Zipline, Wing and Flytrex, each with its real range, weight limit and hours. They run in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Phoenix, Atlanta and more; none in Colorado yet. The day one launches here it shows up as a route. We tell you what is bringing your order, every order.
Why does my cart have food, groceries, AND toilet paper in it?
Because nobody else lets you do this and it’s the most obvious thing. The Sofa’s cart unifies all three categories — restaurant food, full groceries, quick convenience. When you check out, we split your order across the right delivery partners and show you each estimated arrival window. Eventually (once robots can carry a pizza and a six-pack on the same trip) this becomes one delivery. Until then, it’s coordinated separate deliveries from one checkout.
Why "Sofa’s"?
Because that’s where you eat it. Sofa’s is a drive-in theatre for dinner — except the feast comes to you, right on the couch. You pull up the menu, pick your seat, and let the food roll in. Easy to say, hard to forget.

We use this to route your order, calculate delivery time, and remember where to send your usual.
